What does an RCIC do?

A Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant can provide immigration advice and representation within the scope authorized by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants. Sifton explains options, requirements, risks, and next steps based on the information available.

Which Canadian immigration matters can Sifton help with?

Sifton can help with work permits, study permits, permanent residence, family sponsorship, status extensions, visitor matters, and refusals or complex cases. The right service depends on your goals, history, documents, and the current rules.

How do I know which immigration pathway fits my situation?

A consultation starts with your facts rather than a one-size-fits-all promise. We discuss your goals, family situation, education, work history, immigration history, documents, and deadlines before explaining realistic options.

What should I prepare before a consultation?

Bring the information you have about your passport or travel documents, family members, education and work history, previous applications or refusals, current status, deadlines, and the outcome you want. Do not send original identity documents unless they are specifically requested through a secure process.

Can Sifton guarantee that my application will be approved?

No. Only the responsible Canadian immigration authority can decide an application. Sifton can help you understand requirements, prepare a coherent application, and address gaps, but no representative can guarantee an approval, processing time, or result.

How long will my application take?

Processing times change by program, application type, country, completeness, background checks, and government workload. The current Government of Canada processing-time tool is the best source for an estimate, and a consultation can explain factors that may affect your file.

Can you help if I have been refused before?

Yes. We can review the refusal reasons, the previous application, and any new evidence to discuss possible next steps. A refusal review does not guarantee that a new application, reconsideration request, or other option will succeed.

How much does immigration help cost?

The initial consultation fee and available appointment times are shown before you book. Any additional work is discussed within the agreed scope and service terms so you can understand the expected cost before proceeding.

Can an RCIC handle every legal issue connected to my case?

No. An RCIC works within the professional scope authorized by Canadian immigration regulation. Court proceedings, criminal law, family-law disputes, and other matters may require a lawyer or another qualified professional. We will say when a matter is outside our scope.

How do I start?

You can book an initial consultation through the website or send a brief message using the contact form. A message is not a consultation, and no individualized immigration advice is provided until the appropriate service has been arranged.
