1. Acceptance of these terms
By using this website or booking an online consultation, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website or submit a booking.
2. Website information is not legal advice
General information on this website is provided for educational purposes and may not reflect your circumstances or the latest program requirements. It is not legal advice and does not create a consultant-client relationship. A professional relationship begins only when any required service agreement has been accepted and other stated conditions have been met.
3. Consultations, bookings, and payment
Available dates, consultation fees, currency, and the services included are shown before payment. A booking is confirmed only after the payment provider confirms successful payment and we issue confirmation. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Cancellation, rescheduling, credit, and refund rights are governed by the written terms presented for the applicable service and any mandatory consumer protection law. Contact us promptly if you need assistance with a booking.
4. No guarantee of outcome
Immigration decisions are made by the responsible government authority. Timelines, eligibility assessments, and outcomes can change or depend on information outside our control. We do not guarantee approval, processing time, or any particular result.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information; review information and documents before submission; meet deadlines communicated to you; protect account credentials and signed links; and use the website only for lawful purposes. Do not upload malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, impersonate another person, or misuse another person’s information.
6. Accounts and electronic communications
If a client account is created, you are responsible for activity under your credentials and for notifying us of suspected unauthorized access. You agree that we may communicate electronically about bookings, account access, payments, and requested services using the contact details you provide.
7. Intellectual property
The website design, branding, original text, graphics, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Sifton and may not be copied, republished, or commercially exploited without permission, except where law permits.
8. Third-party services and links
The website may use or link to third-party services, including Stripe and government or regulator websites. Their availability, content, security, and privacy practices are controlled by those third parties and are subject to their own terms.
9. Availability and disclaimers
We work to keep the website accurate and available but may update, suspend, or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided without warranties that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sifton is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising solely from use of, or inability to use, the public website. Any liability connected with professional services is also subject to the applicable written service agreement and mandatory law.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms by posting a revised version and effective date. Your use after an update is subject to the revised terms. These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Sifton in Canada, without limiting mandatory rights that apply where you live.
